Dr. Evangelos Anagnostou - MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Neurology at NKUA and Head of the Neurovestibular Disorders Department at Affidea neuraCare. He specializes in clinical and experimental neurophysiology, with expertise in dizziness, balance disorders, ocular motor dysfunctions, and neuromuscular diseases. He has an extensive publication record and active participation in scientific committees and networks in Greece and internationally.

Evangelos Anagnostou trained in Neurology at the University Neurology Clinic, LMU Klinikum Grosshadern (Munich, Germany) and at the 1st Neurology Department, NKUA (Aeginition Hospital). He obtained his PhD in Experimental Neurophysiology at the University of Giessen (Germany) and pursued post-doctoral research in Experimental Neurophysiology with single-neuron recordings in primates at the Center of Sensori-Motor Research, University of Munich (Germany).
At the Aeginition Hospital, he is Head of the Specialized Outpatient Clinic for Vertigo and Balance Disorders as well as the Laboratory of Oculomotor and Balance Research. In addition, as a Clinical Neurophysiologist, he performs diagnostic tests related to peripheral nervous system disorders in the Electromyography Laboratory of the clinic.
He has authored numerous publications on vestibular system neurology, oculomotor function, and balance physiology, as well as in basic neurophysiology. Part of his work also focuses on neuromuscular diseases, with emphasis on electrophysiological assessment.
